Product Description:
Y2345 is a maleic anhydride grafted polyolefin product. By introducing polar maleic anhydride functional groups onto the non-polar polyolefin main chain, it acts as an efficient interfacial modifier. It can significantly reduce the interfacial tension between the non-polar phase and polar engineering plastics (such as PA, PET) in polymer blends, enhancing the interaction force between the two phases, thus providing both compatibilization and toughening effects. Y2345 exhibits excellent affinity with TPE and various polar substrates.
Technical Data:

Note: The above data are typical test values and should not be interpreted as specification limits.
Processing Suggestions:
Y2345 possesses good thermal stability. The recommended processing temperature range is 190°C to 260°C. The final processing temperature should be optimized based on the specific formulation, equipment type, and process conditions. It is recommended to conduct preliminary trials before mass production.
General Application Scenarios:
Polymer Alloys: Used as a compatibilizer and toughening agent in alloy systems like PA/PPO and PA/PP, significantly improving impact strength.
Filled Modification: Improves the interfacial adhesion of glass fibers or mineral fillers (e.g., talc, magnesium hydroxide) in TPE or polyolefins, enhancing mechanical properties and surface quality.
Adhesive Layer: Used as a hot-melt adhesive or bonding layer for laminating metal (aluminum, steel) with plastics, or in co-extrusion structures (e.g., barrier films containing PA or EVOH).
Storage and Safety:
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. This product is hygroscopic; keep the container tightly sealed after opening to prevent moisture absorption.
Shelf Life: 12 months from the date of manufacture under original, unopened packaging and proper storage conditions.
Safety: Ensure adequate ventilation during high-temperature processing. Wear protective gloves and safety goggles during handling. Refer to the product SDS for detailed safety information.
